A real Garmin 430 accepts a programmed route (and has approach and departure procedures built in), and if the airplane's autopilot can take the G430 as a control source, the AP can fly the route. What would be really cool would be for a designer to have a library to which one could purchase avionics from.this list could include purchases like a Century IIB or S-tec auto-pilot, Garmin 327 or NarcoAT-150 Transponder, different makes of NAV/Comms like a KX-155 or Icom product. Thanks for the heads up! Is it your belief 10.3 might have 430's as a standard option! Other avionics I wish I could find would be an Apollo MX-20 MFD as I use one of those as well. I am trying to find a plane with a 430 in it that resembles what I currently fly.it seems it doesn't exist so I thought I'd purchase the reality 430 and install it myself. ![]()
